Day 4: 8/3/08
And on Sunday, we went home.
In the morning, we had a worship service with Todd Agnew. We packed our things, said our goodbyes, and headed home.
Carl’s Jr, being one of the sponsors of SWC ’08, offered us free drinks and discounted food.
All together, it was a great trip. I got a chance to meet some great people, hear some great speakers, and listen to great music. I think making it a group experience is a necessity. Combining efforts for location, food and camping made the experience more enjoyable and relaxing.
Day 3: 8/2/08
Day 3′s run was the same as day 2, however I was not taking photos, I was in a flat out sprint.
The day was filled with entertainment, such as the bungee

In the evening, the Army Reps entertained the crowd by launching flying monkeys and squish balls

The crowd to watch the Newsboys was pretty impressive, even though many went to watch Hawk Nelson.

After that show, we saw comedy by Gary King, and Bob Smiley. Good stuff!

We began our day with the Running of the Christians…

[caption id="attachment_109" align="alignnone" width="200" caption="Toby Mac giving an autograph."]The evening’s highlight was definitely Toby Mac’s performance.
[caption id="attachment_111" align="alignnone" width="300" caption="Toby Mac"]Everybody got energized by the performance.
[caption id="attachment_113" align="alignnone" width="300" caption="Group Grooving"]Afterwards, we watched the comedy of Bone Hampton. It is what it is, and its funny! And he’s got clutter…..
[caption id="attachment_117" align="alignnone" width="300" caption="Bone Hampton"]A good night’s sleep, and we’ll be ready for Saturday….
The first full day began the same way the previous night ended. Building 429, Mission 6, Brooke Barrettsmith.
Most of the day we spent wandering around, shuttling the kids from one attraction to the next. Some favorites were in the VeggieTales‘ VeggieLand.
[caption id="attachment_100" align="alignnone" width="300" caption="VeggieTales' Tom & Larry photo op"]In there we had inflatable “jumpy houses”
[caption id="attachment_101" align="alignnone" width="300" caption="Jumpy House"]balloon animals, crafts & face painting
[caption id="attachment_102" align="alignnone" width="300" caption="Crafts"]and Dance Praise. That was something even the older “kids” could enjoy.
The evening’s headliner was Third Day. They performed an awesome set. At one point, they were just asking the crowd for favorites, and playing songs they might not have even played in years!
[caption id="attachment_103" align="alignnone" width="300" caption="Third Day"]After that, we were all tired, and called it a night. After all, we had to save up our energy to run the next day…..
